Dining etiquette with Chui Ling

Do you trouble with complicated western dining etiquette ? To be honest, I’ve been photographing foods for years without knowing how to pronounce a ‘Pinot Noir’ properly. If you are having issues on western dining etiquette, perhaps you should date Chui Ling on her next ‘Charm & Grandeur Etiquette’ workshop.

The course starts with simple introduction and a short cocktail session. Participants will be taught how to socialize with other guests during champagne drinking session. Pointers are given on what not and what you should do. Participants are shown various correct ways to hold and drink champagne correctly. A lot of good information are given during the ice breaking session. It is interesting  how you can learn to create topic to talk with total strangers with a few important pointers to keep in mind.

The session the moves on to dining course. Participants are tested before being corrected on the proper table etiquette by Chui Ling. The session last for hours from soup, appetizers, main course to dessert. Each of the session will have the proper dining techniques. Interestingly, each course will have it’s wine to pair with the food. Participants are also exposed with various type of wine and how to appreciate white and red wine.

Although the glasses look the same, they are for completely different usage. Wine and Champagne expert Ms Olivia explaining differences and usage of wine glasses. Besides dining etiquette, this workshop also covers wine appreciation extensively. A lot of wine details, region and history and food pairing are taught to participants during the workshop

Now, dining etiquette is not trivial matter and you do not want to embarrass yourself during your dinner with the important guest. There will be a monthly food etiquette workshop conducted by Chui Ling in various locations around Klang Valley. This workshop also comes with hardcopy course materials in case you forget easily.
